“IS MOKYKLA” - Lithuanian
Information System of Education
The project aims are:
-
Development of the basic
infrastructure of the information system of education, connection
of the education agencies in a telecommunication and information
network;
-
Delivering of teaching and
learning resources (internal as well as external) for students of
general education and vocational schools as well as university
students; provision of students, teachers and education agencies
(despite the location of a particular school or agency) an access
to the global computer networks for participation in a project
works.

Construction of the platform for
the design of the electronic media curriculum and instructional
materials and its dissemination in computer networks.

Strengthening of the Lithuanian
Primary Schools
In implementing this program the free
software packages were received from the Chinese Peoples Republic.
This enabled to make 40 new computer labs with 5 working places in
each. Thanks to the project the Lithuanian Primary schools are
consolidated through involvement into installation of ICT, they
develop and implement a program on development of the ICT skills. The
new computer labs also serve as ICT service providers not only for
students and teachers of a school, but for a broader community of that
region as well.
Information of school communities on NATO and
National Security issues
The main objective of the project is
to deliver and disseminate an educative information about NATO and the
Lithuanian Military forces among school communities; promote students
patriotism, their understanding of the peaceful mission of the
Lithuanian military forces, respect for the Lithuanian Army and
international community.

PROJECT
TEACHERS’ COMPUTER DRIVING LICENSE STANDARD
Computer Driving Standard
for Teachers establishes the requirements for the teacher pre-service
and in-service study syllabuses all levels as well as the organization
of the studies.
The
Standard is a concurrent part of the Teachers Certification
requirements. It is oriented to the sixth level of the professional
development. |
