Information Technologies in the Schools. Part I (SITES M-1)

The study analyzed installation of the information technologies in Lithuanian schools in 1996- 1998: the potentials, expectations and results. The study identified the students’ abilities to us IT, teachers’ qualifications and the needs for the in-service training. The conclusions of the study indicated problems of installment of IT in education and came up with the recommendations for the application of technologies in school administration.

Information Technologies in the Schools. Part II (SITES M-2)

The aim of the international study is identification of the effective use of IT (computers, internet, teaching and basic software etc.) in the process of education, its’ examination, establishment the reasons of success, delivering of a lengthy account of the school experiences that could be successfully applied in installation of the IT in schools of our country and abroad.

EUDISED

The National agency of EUDISED was founded at the end of 1995. In Lithuania it collected information on the educational research and presented the findings to the international EUDISED system.
